DWU POM Campus Marks 30 Years of Thanksgiving
30 Years of Thanksgiving and Service | DWU Port Moresby Campus
Following today’s 30th Anniversary Thanksgiving Mass, the DWU Port Moresby Campus community gathered for the blessing of the new university bus by DWU Chaplain and main celebrant, Fr Vincent Agbeyome-Akpah, SVD.
The occasion was a beautiful reminder of God’s blessings and the journey of the University over the past 30 years. In his homily, Fr Vincent reminded students that “your degree is for everyone” — encouraging them to use their education, knowledge and skills in service to others, their communities and the nation through Christ.
The blessing of the new bus marks another step forward for the Port Moresby Campus as it continues its mission of education, service and community.
Giving thanks for the past. Serving in the present. Building for the future.
