DWU Wewak Joins 30th Anniversary Celebrations
Divine Word University's St Benedict's Campus in Wewak is the final campus to join the university-wide celebrations marking DWU's 30th Anniversary.
The celebrations officially kicked off this morning with a Thanksgiving Mass held at St Benedict's Chapel on Campus, led by Fr. Calistus Manse, Vicar General.
The university community gathered in faith and gratitude to celebrate God's blessings throughout DWU's 30-year journey. In his message, Fr. Calistus encouraged the community to be inspired by the Word of God and to live out its teachings, reflecting on the powerful message of John 3:16.
DWU President Professor Fr. Philip Gibbs, SVD, also acknowledged the contributions of missionaries, staff, students, alumni, the wider university community, partners, and the Government of Papua New Guinea in shaping and supporting the university's journey over the past three decades.
