240 Credit Points for the Diploma in Communication Arts (Journalism)

Unique features: internships in Year 2 for students living in provinces where they have access to Media Organizations.  Practical training on using video cameras to cover news, using editing and publishing softwares such as Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Audition, Learning to write news stories in Tok Pisin and translate stories into Tok Pisin

Entry Requirements

Applicants are required to have a GPA requirement of 4.0 and they should have a background in Social Science. They should have taken up Language & Literature in Grade 12. Subject combination and grade requirements for the program are as follows:

2.      2. General Mathematics (Distinction) or Advanced Mathematics (Credit)

3.      3. History (Distinction or Credit)

4.      4. Geography (Distinction or Credit)
